This register will allow users to ban themselves from gambling. If an operator allows such a player access to their platform, they will face a hefty fine β up to β¬20 million or 10% of their turnover.
π§Ί CuraΓ§ao Revises Anti-Money Laundering Rules
The update will come into effect on September 1, 2024. Operators will be required to have a dedicated AML officer and conduct thorough checks no later than when a player makes a transaction of β¬2,200. CuraΓ§ao licensees will also need to maintain more internal documents, policies, and practical guidelines.
