🇧🇷 Brazilian betting companies have proposed paying retroactive taxes for the past five years of operations as a compromise in exchange for a slight tax increase — instead of the long-term doubling from 12% to 24% currently under consideration.

🇦🇷 On November 3, Argentina’s Ministry of Economy published the first nationwide regulation on online gambling advertising. All ads will be required to display the warning "Compulsive gambling harms health" and the "+18" age label. The warnings must remain visible on screen throughout the entire advertisement.

🇨🇳 Macau may partially ease its ban on gambling advertising. Authorities are considering allowing the promotion of gaming equipment at exhibitions and industry events, as well as advertising on gambling-related websites and inside gaming venues.

🇹🇭 The Thai government has announced the creation of a special task force to track suspicious financial flows linked to online gambling, fraud, and other illegal activities.

🇺🇸 The New York State Assembly has proposed a bill that would prohibit a wide range of prediction markets in the state.
