🇵🇭 The President of the Philippines is considering a complete ban on online gambling in the country.

🇵🇭 The Philippine gambling regulator PAGCOR has ordered all licensed operators to remove outdoor gambling ads by August 15, including billboards and transport ads.

🇩🇰 Denmark has tightened its gambling advertising rules. Bonus offers are now capped at 1,000 DKK, and operators must check self-exclusion registries before sending any marketing communications.

🇬🇧 Starting October 10, 2025, the UK will implement a new penalty model for gambling operators. The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) will switch to a percentage-based system, where fines are calculated as a proportion of the operator’s GGY during the period of violation. In serious cases, fines could exceed 15% of GGY.

🇺🇸 In the US, Republicans blocked the repeal of a gambling tax after learning of it only post-approval.

🇪🇺 The EU has tightened age verification requirements for iGaming operators.

🇮🇪 Ireland’s Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRAI) has published licensing guidelines ahead of opening B2C license applications later this year.
